Starting this exploration, I had to look around my apartment in a different way. I had to look at the unique and everyday things that become second nature to us after an elongated amount of time. Going from room to room, I took various different images of the towel bar in the bathroom, and the pipes going to the hot water heater. Once I collected all of these images I tried thinking outside the box. I wanted to show off the object in a different way. So I started by knocking out the background out of the image, or showing a path to the appropriate area. Then taking the text we read, I clipped out specific quotes and words and intricately arranged them in the composition.
